Sacha Sauda is not a new religion, cult, sect or wave. Sacha Sauda is that spiritual activity by which God is worshipped under the guidance of the Satguru. This path of God realization has been coming down ages since the earliest times. Many saints and seers incarnated in this mortal world and inspired us to do this Sacha Sauda and became the guiding lights of spirtuality. These saints and seers were knowers of this supreme science and tried to make this mystical subject easy for the common man. One such torchbearer of spirituality was Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj who did the most noble of services to mankind by establishing in 1948 the spiritual college of Dera Sacha Sauda in order to save people from the complexities, malpractices and superficial rituals that had been afflicting religion and for the salvation of souls.

The Auspicious occasion of Birthday Ceremony of Param Pita Ji Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj (Former preceptor of Dera Sacha Sauda) was celebrated at Shah Satnam Ji Dham on 25th January . Whole ashram was decorated with colourful lights and  the flags showing confluence of religions,  along with the welcome gates and the  program was broadcasted over internet. Despite of shivering winter  and deluge of fog, around 1.17 crore disciples from distant and  surrounding areas as well as from abroad acquainted themselves with the holy Sermons of Guru Ji and imbued in the hue of divinity.

40,035 seekers adopted the method of meditation and pledged to  reform the society. All of the hilarious volunteers of Green  ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing  were engaged in selfless services and avail the faithful. Yet it seemed as that the long preparations were not enough to accommodate the devotees love. More than 9800 vehicles were parked in the traffic ground and  others were stuck up resulting in traffic jam, miles long from Dera.

On the tunes of paternoster , “aa ja re aa ja....” sung by His Holiness in intimate mellifluous voice, whole globe tripudiated. Being a well known fact, on an exhortation by Guruji,  to marry the harlots (who were compelled to endure the throes of marginalization) and to reabsorb them into the mainstream society. So far, scores of young men have come forward for the same. On the same day, those valiant votaries (Bhakat yodha) got themselves  tied in the wedlock with the Shubh Devi (Sex-Worker, willing to join society and blessed as His own daughter by Hujur Pitaji ) and Each of them was bestowed with a cheque of rs. 25,000 as a marriage gift by Guruji. Since, He has adopted those girls as His daughters and  has lent them His own name. Sanctified food (langer) was served among the spiritual community (Sadh Sangat) within a matter of  20 minutes.
